Capital Projects Feasibility Programme (CPFP)
Th Capital Projects Feasibility Programme is an incentive of up to R8 million in grant funding from the Dtic for feasibility studies. The programme supports feasibility studies of large capital-intensive projects where South African goods and services will be utilised in the bankable feasibility and project implementation stages.

Funder & Type of Funding:

- Grant Fund (rebate)
Funds Available:
- Up to R8 million on a cost sharing basis
- Capped at 5% of the cost of the envisaged investment project
- 50% – 55% of qualifying costs (foreign capital projects)
- 50% – 70% of qualifying costs (local manufacturing projects)
Qualifying Projects:
- South African entities requiring feasibility studies for foreign capital investment projects
- South African manufacturers requiring feasibility studies for expansion projects
Requirements:
- B-BBEE Level 1-8
- Completed pre-feasibility study
- Minimum local content for capital goods and professional services must be met
- Envisaged investment project must have an adequate chance of success
