Capital Projects Feasibility Programme (CPFP)
An incentive of up to R8 million in grant funding from the Dtic for feasibility studies. The programme supports feasibility studies of large capital-intensive projects where South African goods and services will be utilised in the bankable feasibility and project implementation stages.

Funder & Type of Funding:

Funds Available:
- Up to R8 million on a cost sharing basis
- Capped at 5% of the cost of the envisaged investment project
- 50% – 55% of qualifying costs (foreign capital projects)
- 50% – 70% of qualifying costs (local manufacturing projects)
Qualifying Projects:
- South African entities requiring feasibility studies for foreign capital investment projects
- South African manufacturers requiring feasibility studies for expansion projects
Requirements:
- B-BBEE Level 1-8
- Completed pre-feasibility study
- Minimum local content for capital goods and professional services must be met
- Envisaged investment project must have an adequate chance of success
